Delta-Control Repair Procedures
|
 |
 |
 |
 |
-
The unit is received and the manufacturer, model number and Customer are confirmed and loaded into Delta Tracker.
-
A technician pre-inspects the unit for things that may cause the unit to be beyond economical repair (such as corrosion) and to see if any manuals or schematics need to be ordered.
-
The unit is sent to the staging area for pre-inspection and to wait for a Customer Approval (Purchase Order Number).
-
The customer is quoted a price to repair the unit and notified of any problems found during pre-inspection.
-
When approval (Purchase Order Number) of the repair is received from the customer, the unit is assigned to a technician and placed in the technicians repair que.
-
Unless designated a Rush the unit is placed in the normal repair cycle in order of the Date of Approval. Delta Tracker is updated.
-
The Tech pre-tests the unit and then cleans the unit. Delta Tracker is updated.
-
Preventive maintenance is performed on the unit. Capacitors and other high fail components are replaced to insure the unit performs well beyond the warranty period. Delta Tracker is updated with parts used.
-
The unit is then repaired. Delta Tracker is updated with parts used and an explanation of what was done to repair the unit.
-
The unit is then placed in the test stand for final burn-in. The unit is dynamically load tested in a Truly Simulated OEM environment for load stress and heat stress conditions. Delta Tracker is updated.
-
The unit is sent to Quality Control for final inspection.
-
The unit is packaged to prevent damage during shipment and then it is shipped to the customer. Insurance is available upon request.
